Before choosing the right size storage space for an RV it is important to understand that the type of RV makes a difference when it comes to parking.

Unit Sizes for Class A RVs

Class A RVs can range from about 21 feet to over 45 feet in length. Although these are big RVs, they can be easier to maneuver than towable RVs. At RV Storage Vancouver we designed our parking spaces with flexibility in mind. As long as we have availability, we will be able to accommodate large RVs by combining back to back spaces for a total maximum length of 70′. Combining back to back spaces also allows the space to become a pull-thru space.

With pull thru spaces you simply drive forward to park and drive forward to exit the parking spot.

Unit Sizes For Class B RVs

Class B RVs are the smallest and easiest to park. These are typically less than 20′ long and can fit into any of our spaces. The best spaces for Class B RVs will be 10×20, 10×22, 12×20 or 12×25.

Class C RVs are medium size RVs, ranging between 20 feet and 31 feet long. RV Storage Vancouver will be a perfect facility for these vehicles, as all of our spaces will accommodate Class C RVs. These sizes include 10×20, 10×22, 10×25, 12×20, 12×25, 12×30, 12×33, and 12×35.

Unit Sizes For Towable RV Trailers

Travel trailers and fifth wheels can average in lengths between 20 and 40 feet. RV Storage Vancouver was designed with towable vehicles in mind. This is why our driveways are up to 45′ wide. To maneuver these trailers into position, it is best to select the widest parking spaces. Whenever possible it is a good idea to check on the availability of two back to back spaces to provide for a long pull-through space.

At RV Storage Vancouver we have 12′ wide spaces ranging from 25′ long to two back to back spaces in a pull-thru configuration with a total length of 65′. We also have 14' wide spaces that can accommodate up to a 40' long fifth-wheel. These larger spaces are positioned at a slight angle to provide for easier in and out access.

These small towable campers will fit nicely in any space, but the most affordable option will be our 10×20′ spaces.

RV Storage Vancouver is best suited for storage of boats that are less than 35′ long, including the length of the trailer. The more affordable spaces for boats up to 25′ in length, will be our 10×20, 10×22, and 12×25 units. For longer boats, the best spaces will be our 12×25, 11.5×30, 11.5×33, and 11.5×33 units.

Unit Sizes For Parking Commercial Vehicles

Our facility will permit storage of commercial vehicles, with the exception of semi-trucks. In general, the best spaces for commercial vehicles up to 25′ long will be our 10×20, 10×22, and 10×25 units. The best spaces for vehicles longer than 25′ will be our 12×25, 12×30, 12×33, and 12×33 units.
